Mike had tasked Hamish (Project Manager) with leading the company's transition from Accelo's agency management platform to Clickup. A move was driven by finding a more scalable and affordable solution to managing their agency projects and retainer works. 

Although a fantastic solution, ClickUp, doesn't have an inbuilt or native billing system integration so a key feature Oddball team needs to continue with the migration was to enable a billing solution by integrating Xero with ClickUp. Hamish had explored utilising Make (formerly Integromat) but recognised they needed a specialist partner to support the development and management.

As an Expert+ Partner of Make, we were engaged by Oddball to build the integration.

To ensure we met the critical requirement for invoicing clients we sat down with Mike, Toddy, and Hamish to work out all the various and unique situations that existed in their business. Whether it was project work, monthly retainers, or adhoc support work we ensured all options were explored, mapped, and executable. We lent our experience in workflow management and automation optimisation to suggest critical path changes and ways to simplify activity required to be performed by Oddball Marketing team members. 

By doing so we were able to automate the generation, issuing and email on Xero invoices at the right time with the right content from key trigger stages performed in ClickUp. We have done this utilising Make.com automation software and we now manage their automation to ensure peace of mind and smooth operation.
